The delivery of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) is essential to achieve our goal that 'By 2030 everyone will have an AED available within 6 minutes'. And this objective has driven us for more than 20 years.

An unexpected increase in the demand for AEDs

Due to increased awareness, the 2022 expectations have already been surpassed. As more and more people become aware of the impact of an AED, the demand rises dramatically. We see this reflected internationally in our requests. At the beginning of this year we expected to sell the 50,000th AED in the fourth quarter of 2022, but now we expect this to happen much earlier.

The increasing awareness of AEDs and the fact that their presence can make the difference between life and death is very important. A cardiac arrest can happen anywhere: at home, at work, at the sports club or on the street. And the sooner an AED is deployed, the greater the chance of survival.
