Heartsine
Heartsine makes use of a unique system in which the electrodes and the battery are integrated into one system: the Pad-Pak. The Pad-Pak is available in a version for defibrillation of adults and children. The children’s version is called the Pedi-Pak. It will adjust the shock energy to the smaller body. Is the Heartsine AED located in an area with lots of children? Then it is recommended to keep a Pedi-Pak with your device.
Both the Pad-Pak and the Pedi-Pak are easily replaced. After replacing it, the AED will start a short self-test. A green LED light indicates that the device is ready to use.
