Mindray BeneHeart MR60 electrodes
The adult electrodes for the Mindray BeneHeart AED are also applicable for children through the child button on the AED. These defibrillation electrodes can be used pre-connected. This means that they can be pre-connected to the AED. This saves valuable time during any deployment. The electrodes are very easy to change by plugging the already connected connector into the AED device. The electrodes can be stored in the lid of the AED, in a designated compartment.
Durability of the MR60 pads Electrodes have an expiration date due to the conductive gel which can dry out. They may no longer be used after the expiration date. Therefore, make sure that you always have an unopened set of electrodes with an expiration date. The MR60 pads have a shelf life of approximately 3 years. The expiration date can be found on a sticker on the packaging of the electrodes.
Application to children: The adult electrodes of the Mindray BeneHeart can also be used for children by means of the child button on the AED. By switching to the child mode on the AED, the energy will be reduced immediately.
