Step-by-step instructions and visual aids

The ZOLL AED Plus guides the rescuer through the resuscitation process step by step. It does this using spoken instructions, a text display and LED-illuminated icons. This ensures that it is always clear which actions to perform at any given time.

Optional ECG display

With the optional ECG display, you can view heart activity as a waveform directly on the LCD screen. This provides additional insight into the patient’s heart rhythm. This function is primarily intended for professional use.
You can easily add the ECG display to your order. Please note: The ECG display is only available in combination with ZOLL Plus AEDs, so that it can be correctly configured in advance

Real-time CPR feedback with the ZOLL AED Plus

The CPR-D padz™ electrodes supplied are a single, integrated unit, which prevents the electrodes from being positioned incorrectly. Thanks to Real CPR Help® technology, the first aider receives immediate feedback on the depth and rate of chest compressions. This improves the effectiveness of CPR and increases the survival rate.

Defibrillator with low maintenance costs

The ZOLL AED Plus is fitted with electrodes and batteries with a service life of approximately 5 years, which significantly reduces maintenance costs compared with many other defibrillators. This means that the electrodes and batteries need only be replaced once during the defibrillator’s entire service life (when not in use).

The defibrillator’s high protection rating

The ZOLL AED Plus offers excellent protection with a high IP rating of 55. This means that the device is dust-resistant and splash-proof. This makes the defibrillator ideal for use in dusty environments, such as industrial sites. Thanks to its water resistance, it is also suitable for use near swimming pools, saunas and in marine environments.

Shock impedance and energy levels for the ZOLL-AED Plus

The ZOLL defibrillator uses a dynamic shock protocol with energy levels of 120, 150 and 200 joules. Depending on the need and the patient’s condition, the first shock is delivered at 120 joules. If further defibrillation is required, the energy is increased to 150 joules and finally to 200 joules in subsequent shocks. This step-by-step process enhances the effectiveness of the treatment.
